This is a great way to store a lot of knives economically. The felt covers fold back for installation of knives. Then they protect the knives when folded back over them. It keeps scratching to a minimum. The hard outer cover zips closed and there is a secure carrying handle that makes transporting them so much easier. There is a downside to these cases. The elastic bands do stretch out after a while from repeated knife removal/installation. Larger tacticals can be installed with some effort. Still a good way to store or show your collection. I myself own 15 of them and they almost hold all my collection. I have tried the other types of cases that have pouches, but knives tend to slip out. These hold the average knife more securely.

The outer part of the case is ok, but not sure how it will hold up once I fill it. The elastic bands don't appear to be sturdy enough to hold a lot of folding knives. We'll see, I haven't finished filling it yet.

I’m very pleased with this case. It seems well made, we’ll see after some time, but I have no reason to believe it won’t hold up well. I actually like that it’s made of synthetic materials because it won’t attract or hold moisture. The knife spaces are big enough for my pieces, mostly case trappers, stockmen, physician’s knives, etc. It even works for the sunfish/elephant toes that I have, but they do stretch the elastic to its limit. If your collection is full of wide, thick knives it won’t hold as many. You’d probably have to skip two spaces in between each knife because of the limits of the elastic.
