It works, but due to the fact that I'm still practicing (got my switch a few weeks ago), I haven't competed in online play yet. All I know right now is that the adapter works and that is all that matters to me.

Since the Switch dock is already tethered by HDMI and AC, it makes sense to use the ethernet adapter for a LAN connection. With that said, this adapter performs flawlessly. Never had an issue with connectivity. Great value for an OEM product.
