I found this great little rest to be an invaluable add onto my hiking/ walking sticker. It provides an excellent rest for those longer shots. It has the standard camera mount thread, so you can quickly change between camera and rifle rest.

needs correct thread, other than that works fine as a gun rest on tripod.
it works fine,only problem is the thread is of unknown metric,?. had to replace with a new screw from hardware to fit a tripod.

Do not buy for your tripod or monopod.
Does not fit standard tripod camera threading. Messed up the threads on my tripod and monopod. Save your money and buy something better. This is certainly the case of getting what you pay for.
