I really dig this Kershaw Grinder! However, allow this cool folder a short amount of time and little effort (about 2 dozen wrist flicks) to break in when deploying the blade via depressing the flipper tab, because the stiff Speed Safe system spring is new. I've learned that it's a notable anomalous trait of this model when new, so no worries...it'll be fine. The folder has decent heft, and the handle has good ergos when handling it for some time. It feels quality for such an inexpensive folder knife. My only "con" about this folder is that the thin blade is made of mediocre 4cr13mov steel and not a better quality blade steel; Kershaw should just use 9cr19mov or AUS8A on all of their budget folders.

Overall, this is a pretty good knife. Like almost everything else, it's made in China... The reason that I only gave it 3 stars is that the liner lock is a little stiff. These types of knives are designed to be used with one hand (opening and closing). While it opens fine, to close it with just one hand is a little difficult. Exacting tooling specifications and quality control measures are lacking in China...
