Helps liver on prednisone
I'm not usually into unproven neutraceuticals, but our young pup has to be on a high a dose of prednisone for an autoimmune disease. His liver enzymes spiked and w/in a month vets gave him 2-3 weeks before liver failure. We put him on the milk thistle chews...we're half way through the second bag and he's still going strong! His liver values are almost in the normal range 3 months into the treatment. I believe these chews are drastically extending his life.

May work for a small dog...if you have not previously used the Hepticlear first
We had used the Vetri Science Proline Hepticlear the first time...it worked very well. We tried this one when that was no longer available. This one requires twice as many for same dosage...making it a lesser value...and dogs blood went down during that time even though diet and everything was the same as when she was on Hepticlear. When we could get the Hepticlear we did and everything went back to normal again. It would work I guess...but you have to use twice as much, so not so good value considering the are just a few dollars difference in price.

I am guessing that this is a good product, a good value, and of good quality since I cannot know these things without a chemistry degree. I do know that my dog will eat them and that she has not regressed during the time I've used these.
