I have a Welsbach 1902 Universal upright/indoor gas light, and the 1" ID base on the #7915 mantle fits it well enough to work fine, with no leaks or flame escaping. I may add a band of copper flashing to my flame spreader just to tighten up the fit a bit more.. The fabric does tighten right up once the initial burn is done, as they've said. Mine's a fairly smooth conical shape now. With a proper adjustment on the orifice lever, and a milk glass globe, I'd have to guess around a 40 watt bulb equivalent. Now I'm set for those power outages, with far more elegance than a Humphrey's light can offer. Thanks guys!

The is a "Made in China" and it shows in the "look".--- the mantel has a "sagging" look, the material is not as "fine" as the original .( It has a "course " sock.--the white portion.) After it's lit, it "tightens up and works ! I return and buy from here annually. The price is "reasonable" costs and this is one of the few sites that offer gas light mantels.

I especially like that these are attached at the bottom. I have had others that weren't attached and ended up hanging sideways half out of the flame.
