What does this price mean?
This is the price (excluding shipping and handling fees) a seller has provided at which the same item, or one that is nearly identical to it, is being offered for sale or has been offered for sale in the recent past. The price may be the seller's own price elsewhere or another seller's price. The "off" amount and percentage simply signifies the calculated difference between the seller-provided price for the item elsewhere and the seller's price on eBay. If you have any questions related to the pricing and/or discount offered in a particular listing, please contact the seller for that listing.
Do not expect it to feel like metal or as solid as the addi. it does, however, perforn the same. the first 5 or so rows are suspect then its off to the races. I just finished a six foot scarf with no flaws after the first 4 rows.
do not let it unravel your yarm, it needs to be loose and free. you will hear it click loudly as the yarn tightens. it also causes flaws in the piece, thats the most important thing, loose yarn!!!
I crank it really really fast and it does not care, its flawless and fast, 6 foot scarf took less than 20 minutes including the ends.
I am a 51 yo guy who learned to crochet in the Army to pass time. This ramped what I make for my kids up so much. They find it funny I crochet and make them hats and scarves.
I have run about 100 feet through it so far at least and its just amazing.
I have not tried the flat yet so canot attest to it.
Love the machine, old or young its an awesome design, just like the AddiRead full review
The first thing that you have to remember about this machine is that it is plastic. Everything from the gears to the knitting needles are made of plastic and have to be treated accordingly. It does knit well, but only has one knitting stitch. You are also limited by the size of the knitted tube or flat panel that it can produce. It is perfect for small projects, but larger projects are tedious. As a first time circular knitting machine learning aid for a child, it is a good buy.
I had to use tape on the feet to keep it from sliding around during operation and it should have somewhere to hold it. Other than that it works like a charm.
