small and compact
this knife is easy to sharpen and holds an edge well for an in-expensive blade. it is basically 440a SS. it's all you need for the occasional skinning job. I purchased this knife as a Christmas gift for a working cowboy and my better half. I did have a quick peek at the knife before I wrapped it. I was impressed with the texture and quality of both the handle and the blade itself. It seemed like a nicely put together and balanced knife for the price. I certainly didnt expect to find that good of quality at that affordable of a price. Though I am very happy that I did. Unfortunately it'll be awhile before my other half can attest to the durability of the knife and I can't judge that with just a quick peek.
