Rear axle conversion kits convert your hub to fit a new axle measurement or for a new group set. Remember that all DT Swiss hubs can be converted. Compatible with classic flanged hubs. DT 12 x 142mm and 12 x 148mm rear hubs use the same end caps. End caps do not convert non-Boost hubs to Boost 148mm spacing. DT 142x12mm and 148x12mm hubs simply share the same end caps. You need this piece ! Or maybe not ...
If you are running an 11s cassette on a DT Swiss hub and you want to go thru axle, then you'll probably be needing this part . The end cap is longer on the cassette side . Don,t tell anyone but you could also glue a 1.5 or 2 mm washer on there and it would do just the same ... For the price of 3X nothing . Or you get this . Good kuck !
