These are some solid tuners. Bought them to replace the ones of my G&L L-2000 tribute. They were a perfect fit. The only thing I had to do was push the bushings in as they were a tight fit. Bass stays in tune much better now. I'd give it 5 stars, but the screws that are included are cheap and easy to strip. So just be careful. Other than that great tuners. Precise and stable tuners
These tuners are consistent with all of the other Grover products that I use - they provide precise and stable tuning which is vital to the performance of an electric base. Doesn't get any better!
I cannot attest to which basses these are a direct buld for because I put them on a new un-drilled neck BUT these are well made tuners and they look stunning. This is my third set of these. Same As Others At 2/3 The Cost
These tuners are lighter, better built, and smoother than the stock tuners. By virtue of being lighter they aid in reducing the dreaded Neck Dive that Precision's are notorious for. Plus they are 2/3 the cost of their nearest competitor. These tuners are highly efficient and made well. I whole heartedly recommend them.
