Was expecting a whimpy bender like i had before. No way, this thing is beefy. Has a nice heft to it. First thing i noticed it was shipped in a small crate, not a box. That is worth points in my book. Second thing i noticed was how hefty in weight it is. Very nice, worth more points in my book. This is a roller/former, not a bender. Even though yes it technically does bend the tube, it does so by a roller pressing it into a form, hence roller former. By roll forming you reduce the risk of squishing the tube. You end up with will a nice end product using this over a normal bender machine. Third thing i noticed is how much more heft materials are used in this compared to my last bender. This sucker is near indestructible when used correctly. The construction of this machine assures it a very long life. Im extremely impressed with the quality of this tool. Nicely painted, which im gonna scratch up using it, lol. Nicely and professionally packed in a small wood crate vs cheapo tools in a cardboard box. You will love this former ( tube bender). Its so easy to bend 1" tube with this, I am smacking myself for not buying it sooner, SO MUCH SAVED TIME AND STOCK!!! This tool will pay for itself in no time at all. Great quality an affordable for the small time and diy, bends are just as good as a hydraulic former, at way less the hurt on the wallet. Dont pass this up if you deal with tubing, it will save you a ton of time. I find myself using scrap just to play with it. It looks great but doesn't work that great. I'm trying to bend ornamental tubing. this is what happened. 1- First thing it leaves a very distinct crescent moon at the beginning of the bend which causes the tubing to collapse. 2- There's no graduation marks to make repeatable bends. I can do a better job with a conduit bender if I had the correct size.

Have used this on two jobs so far bending 7/8 copper. On both jobs I used it to bend all angles and 90's on copper for Ac systems.
