I heard about the new releases from Tamiya in their glue range. Since I was unable to get this from any local stores or even within the U.S. when I was looking, I decided to take a gamble and try this glue out. The first experience I had with it was building 1/35 figures from Master Box. I expected to have a little extra time to place the parts and readjust as needed, however that really did not happen. By the time I could place the part, the glue had already dried too much to hold the pieces together. After a few times dealing with this, I placed the two pieces together and let the glue seep between the parts as I held them together. This worked out MUCH better. Like all new products, they take some experimenting with and adjustments. After following the new way of applying, I have had much more success. It seems to have around the same strength as the regular green lid extra thin cement, but the set time is literally less than 5 seconds it seems when I used it. I can't say I will purchase another bottle because I feel like this will last a very long time as long as it is stored properly and accidents don't happen. It has is benefits I suppose on certain models, especially in hard to reach areas or on accessories or small parts to figures or vehicles, but I would not use it as my primary. To sum it up, it definitely sets quick, it could have its benefits, and I believe it is worth having a bottle in your glue collection.Read full review

I love it, so tired of the regular glue which is terribly messy. The liquid glue is so easy to use and I like the quick set feature. I love Tamiya products in general ,they are the guys I trust the most to provide quality model kits and accessories. Keep up the awesome job Tamiya

A few years ago my friend at the model shop recommended using Tamiya’s extra thin set glue for the really small parts on the kits I was building. This stuff works great! The application brush is perfect for small parts where the normal glue I was using was too much for the assembly work I was doing. Once applied to the part, you have ample time to move the parts to the desired location before the glue sets up. Once it has been a few minutes, the glue is firmly dried to handle the parts without worrying that they’ll move. I highly recommend this product for modelers requiring a strong, easy to use glue with no mess or heavy odor.

TAMIYA Extra Thin comes highly recommended in the model hobby; I can now see why. Much easier to work with than traditional super glue, it's thin, stays where I put it, and quick setting just like on the label. As a cement, it does have pretty powerful fumes, so make sure to use in a well ventilated space. I have seen some places recommend you thicken it up by dissolving sprue in the bottle, but can't say it's something I've tried or plan on doing; works just fine for me with the consistency as is.

This adhesive is ideal for more experienced modelers due to its fast setting qualities. I use it on every model I build. It dries clear and does not craze the plastic on the joint that has been bonded. It will craze the plastic if too much is used. The cap has a very fine brush in it for applying the cement. I highly recommend this product as a good adhesive for plastic, polystyrene. It will not work on ABS or poly type plastics used in gundam joints those require special adhesives. Available here on Ebay. Application is easy put your two parts together and apply a drop at the joint and capillary action will flow it along the joint. It sets in about 2 mins and is completely hardens in about 2 hours. The bond is strong without alot of adhesive. More is not better with this glue. A minimal amount is all that is needed.Read full review
