I replaced my poorly performing Cannon printer with this printer. As usual the print quality is excellent. Both text and color prints are produced sharp and true. Very easy set up. Quiet operation. I am very please also with ink costs.

The printer is unable to use non-hp genuine inks because there is a block in its software. This makes it much more expensive to buy inks. I have an older but similar 8710 printer that prints with non-generic inks, however, the printhead is becoming worn and that is why I chose to have a similar printer because I would like to continue using the alternative inks. This printer is a great disappointment. Even when I tried to unblock the HP software hold on it.

I love the fact that you can set up to print fro your mobile devices through wifi and that it has the option to do double sided printing, scanning and is a multiple page copier!
