I am new at vacuum sealing food, but these are easy to use with the FoodSaver vacuum. This device is about 1/2 the size of your hand mixer, so easy to store. Literally, apply tool, push a button and all the air is gone from the bag. Good for the food, good for your freezer space!

One in three bags stay sealed! I was very disappointed! Bought quite a bit of meat...steaks, hamburger, chops and lunchmeat. Was so aggravated when I bagged up one steak and sealed it great! Went for the second steak and the first one was no longer sealed! Had to rebag and seal again and then again before it stayed sealed! Was a long afternoon just to get this quick little job done, not to mention the money wasted having to throw out bags that wouldn’t keep their seal! Guess next time I will just buy a machine...in the long run it would probably save me money!!!
