TV SHIPPED WITH "ENERGY SAVER ON. This setting makes the picture EXTREMELY dark. Once this setting is set to OFF the picture is great using local cable service. Supplied OWNERS MANUAL inadequate. ONSCREEN HELP is very good. Screen share with LG Aristo very problematic (to sure it's a TV or PHONE issue at this time. Still in "honeymoon" period....So far extreme happy with this TV.

Great TV and solving the negative reviews
The big negative on this TV is complaints about light from the corners while watching letter box movies. Easily solved by going to the advanced settings selecting the mode you are using and adjusting the back light. The default is in the high 90s, set it to about 68, increase the brightness a bit and you are good to go! I am picky as I used to design video monitors and I can't find a single nit to pick. I saw things in my previous TV that no one else in the family could see, but drove me nuts. For example, when the pixels on a background wall would change. Great value for the money and better than other highly touted models from other manufacturers. Decent sound in stand alone. I am using my home theater system fed by the optical coupler and am totally happy.

Worth the money
Beautiful picture quality, with a true Smart technology. You can use the remote as a motion controller to select apps and links, and everything is smooth and refined. Only issues I have found is audio quality isn't the best, bass is lacking (most people have a sound bar or home system which will take this away) and the image is recessed off the front glass, so you'll see the a very small amount of image reflection on the sides. You won't notice it at all if you sit in front of the screen. But beautiful picture quality with tons of options and high end beauty.
