Microsoft Xbox One S Launch Edition 2TB White Console. The Xbox One S is the redesigned and 40 percent smaller version of the gaming console Xbox One. The console does not only allow you to play a plethora of games but, also watch movies and use streaming services. The HDMI-port allows the connection to a TV or a monitor. The console is 4K capable and allows viewing movies in UHD quality. The console is also compatible with the Kinect for Xbox One. This model in the Launch Edition also contains a built-in 2 TB hard drive to store all the media and games.
I have a great computer and was frustrated with load times in forza 7.. like 1:36 to load a race. Since it was bought for Xbox one as well I got one and wow.. brand new.. perfect condition. Runs great on the 4k 55 inch. Lightning fast load times and after 9 games installed I have yet to break 12% space used. Downloaded games from the store don't require discs so you can bring the system to a friend's place with controllers and the games all come too. You can use 1 controller to sign in 2 accounts and the 2nd can use the 1sts Xbox live. Great for family gaming and 4k movies as well. After seeing this the Xbox one x looks almost wasteful unless for pro gamers and testers. 40% increased speed isn't very tantalizing when forza loads a new race in the time it takes to collect your prizes from the last race. Does 4k 60 fps no problem. Couldn't ask for a better system imo. Read full review
As I downloaded the Forza trial at 50GB I was happy I went with the 2TB model even though it doesn't come bundled with any games. I ended up springing for the extra $100 to get the Kinect 2.0 with an adapter too. The integration of Microsoft user accounts into the gaming system is somewhat annoying. I'm a 20+ year IT guy and it took me a while to get through setting up my family. You have to set up each family member with a Microsoft account (with email) to get them into games. The 12 month membership to Gold is great, but I'm wondering why its asking to purchase Gold memberships for each of my kids I add in?
The new S box is a lot smaller than the 1980's Betamax sized previous version. It doesn't see to throw off a lot of heat which is also nice. The graphics equal that of high-end PC's and at $400 is far cheaper. Its also nice not to have to configure each game for optimal performance. the fact that it plays 4K Blu-rays is a bonus I'll enjoy on my next TV.
Overall great piece of hardware

My favorite part of this particular Xbox One S model is its large internal storage, which comes in 2TB. The annoyance of modern game consoles require each game to be installed onto the hard drive, which takes up a significant amount of space and can run out quickly. Therefore, a large internal storage is necessary to include as many good games on it as possible. I'd recommend any one looking for an Xbox go for the 2TB storage option if you hate the hassle of changing drives all the time.
This system is awesome by far! The only thing I can say is, disc or not, it installs it all to your HDD. So if you game a lot like me, you're going to need an external drive either way. Graphics don't have as high of a resolution as PC, but that's not very noticeable. Performance, playability, and product wise, this is still the best version of the Xbox there is!
Such a great price point for a great product. I'm able to store all of my games on my console so I don't even have to keep the discs around. Thanks so much, I will be purchasing from this seller in the future if I ever need another used console.
Best regards,
