Plus you have to be almost in front of the unit. Also, strangely, white is not one of the color selections yet it is the selection for power loss. So it works fine if you are into multi-color. But if you want a simple motion sensor nightlight with a backup power outage, this may not be the best selection. But the price is good for a set of 3.
