Works great provided it's unlocked and the firmware is up to date
Used Aerohive access points work great, provided the previous owner has deleted them from their ExtremeCloudIQ account (kind of like removing an iCloud lock on an iPhone) *AND* the firmware needs to be fairly recent (8.2r3 or higher) in order for it to work. If it's locked to the previous owner, or has really old firmware, you have a brick. ExtremeNetworks refuses to provide the firmware images to incrementally update these access points to acceptable versions for their cloud management system (ExtremeCloudIQ). I had to buy 4 of these, from 4 different sellers, in order to get 1 that worked.
