Since I work with these bikes daily, I had figured out the wiring and knew how to hook it up. If you don't YOU NEED directions and a wiring color code. There was none provided with product. I did figure it out and it works great and the price is right, So i had to recommend it even without the directions.

Great basic BLDC controller. I use this with a cycle analyst V3 to control my bike. I'm currently using it in sensorless mode because I believe the hall sensors in my motor are defective. To get the motor running, connect the auto-sense wires to each other (the two white wires with mating connectors) - your motor should start turning. If it's not turning in the right direction, disconnect and reconnect the auto-sense wires. The direction should reverse. Disconnect the wires again to operate your controller.

I don't doubt that this is a good unit but lacking Instructions, schematics, or wiring info of any kind puts me back on a slow self learning curve leaving the bike unridden so I cannot attest to the quality of this controller.

Works good on the bench on a 3 phase DC motor with 3 hall sensors. Fast throttle response. Good value.
