Great affordable phone but not good at pictures and video
This is a great phone for fast internet, big 5.5 inch screen, long life removable battery, great value for the price but if you are thinking of using the camera or video, this phone is not good in it. Not good on auto focus, no anti-shake / image stabilization, my cheaper Nokia lumia takes a lot better pictures and video than this Zmax 2. Taking pictures and video is just okay on daytime and worse at night time even with flash. You need a bright light at night time to take good pictures/video. Using the video on maximum quality of 1280x480, video is good but voices farther than 10 feet is distorted. Just attended a wedding with my brothers, their Iphone and Samsung are sharp and clear on pictures & video even at night time with very low light. Mine did not even get close. I know Iphone and Samsung are more expensive but the older model S5 or 5S is not. So if you are thinking of fast internet (mini tablet), this is the phone for you but if you are thinking of clear/sharp camera shots or video taking, not recommended at all. FOLLOW UP: June 23, 2016 I downloaded the CAMERA MX app on google play store and solved my great camera shots and video taking. I used this Camera MX instead of the original Camera app installed. Also, I installed the Verizon Messages (Message+) from google play store too to send picture or video text messaging. The original text messaging of the phone will not send picture/video messaging. Volume really not ok
Overall the phone is good, it almost meets my needs and I am almost completely satisfied with it. My one issue is the sound/volume for notifications such as SMS, MMS or other messaging services. For these, the notifications can be barely heard and quite honestly I cannot use it as my primary device. I had to go out and get another device from another manufacturer to meet my needs completely

All the features you may want in an android phone without the high cosst
This cell phone has it all: a large readable screen, great camera, long battery, expandable memory, all your favorite apps. Never understood why people would pay 7x more for a Galaxy or an Iphone to have the same features. Perfect for the cost conscious. Was shipped fast in perfect condition.

surprised at how easy it is to use
i stuck it out with a 1gb ram android that i used only for fb and gmail for almost two yrs! because i never thought i'd find an inexpensive replacement. for a great price i got 2gb ram all the apps i need all the websites i need and all the features i need. don't know how i managed without them! the camera is better, the sound is better, the ease of use is better and if i could just figure out why i didn't have all my contacts in google already, still have to add some contacts manually from the old phone. 6in screen and large letters make it easy to see. went back to ebay to get a cute case and anti-glare screen protector, and this came with two batteries at 3100 mah for each! i am one happy camper!

This phone is a very good option for a prepaid carrier where you can't afford $800 for the new phones. Brand new was reasonable and it is worth every penny. Large screen and responsive with a loud speaker. Runs android so all apps available on the big brands are available on it as well. It is a very sound investment for a. Usher smart phone and you lose little if any quality.
