Honeywell retrofit gas valve with spark ignitor system is the way of the future!
I have this old POS 100BTU furnace that had this old gas valve that would shut off at any random time. I would have to relight the pilot at least three or more times a week. I had changed the thermocouple and looked into whether the heat exchanger was cracked and blowing the pilot out. Nothing was wrong with the furnace except this old valve. It needed to go. Enter this new spark ignitor gas valve system. It works wonders! It converted my 40+ year old furnace into something a little bit more modern and reliable. No more standing pilot. No more pilot to inexplicably blow out! No more busted up thermocouple to replace every so often. I used to come home after a long days work and find the house would be like 20 degrees because the pilot had blown out. Not any more! This spark ignitor retrofit gas valve solved my problem. I come home and the temperature is right where I set it! Thanks!
