After using a Hoover Vacuum Cleaner for my entire lifetime I decided to switch over to a cordless bag-less vacuum cleaner. The Dyson V11 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner was a tempting offer since it was at half-price. I have used it and I cannot believe the power this vacuum cleaner has to offer. To see the dust in the holder after using the vacuum cleaner is somewhat astonishing. You never knew that much dust and dirt was in your carpet and on your floor. Afterwards, I took the dust holder outside to the trash and emptied it. No more letting dust and dirt accumulate in a vacuum bag and stay in your home for six to nine months. The Dyson V11 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is a great buy for those of you who want to rid of using 1980s and 90s bulky vacuum bag cleaners. Easy assembly. Charge the battery the day before you want to use the Cordless Vacuum Cleaner and you will be ready to go. the unit came without instructions on how to charge the battery!!! :( The reason provided is that Dyson wants to be environmentally friendly by providing this critical information only on line! That's obnoxious considering the incredible amount of cardboard they use to package the vacuum and considering that they provided pages and pages in several languages about how to be safe. I never saw so much cardboard wasted on packaging such a small product. For the batteries, they warn about charging them correctly etc, etc, but rather than a few words as to how, they tell us to get that information online, which is a huge inconvenience.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I love the work it does. OMG, so much dust!!!!! I only use the medium, haven't need the full power because it really sucks the dirt and dust in. The only "difficulty" is getting the dirt out of the jar thing. I need to remember to insert the jar (where it collects the dirt) inside the trash can, because it opens so sudden that I can make a mess. But I can honestly deal with this. Just need to remember.
