Very easy to set up and use. It helps to capture extremely smooth footage. And the built in battery lasts all day. I am using a mirrorless camera and small lens on it. But the gimbal is fairly heavy.

The DJI RSC 2 is a fantastic product and will allow me to up my game on shooting video. The setup was a little confusing at first but like any new product you have to get used to it. I am happy with the quality of the product and is very well built. The kit has everything you need to get started. I did buy an add on "Raven Eye" to enable some of the other neat features such as tracking.

If you want to use this gimbal for video filming with fine motor control, it seems to work well and I would rate it probably 4, maybe even 5. However, I purchased it not only for video but for the features of time lapse and the tracking feature for the video. My experience has been frustrating. You program the gimbal to perform a certain movement pattern in time lapse mode, it would gradually tilt the camera in the horizontal plane, resulting in a tilting time lapse. Also, it would not pan consistently, so I would get little starts and stops in the panning motion. Other times, it would just simply stop panning. The app indicates it is at a certain spot near the end of the pan, only to see the gimbal has only moved a much smaller portion of the programmed movement. Other times, it works just fine. And I have recalibrated, rebalanced, etc. Very frustrating when I had a beautiful scene. So I tried the same thing with the Video tracking feature. Again, frustrating. If you are doing a relatively short "time lapse", it would work out generally OK, but longer, like the maximum 2 hours of tracking and it does not hold the camera position consistently. The last one I attempted was a golden hour panning timelapse and within about 30 degrees of a 180 degree pan,the gimbal would tilt the camera toward the ground, losing the horizontal continuity. I also timed the actual pan vs the programmed pan and found the actual pan to be 9% too fast. Again, very frustrating. Many otherwise beautiful videos basically ruined. I think it is more a software/firmware problem vs hardware. Also, the app when connecting to the phone often gives a notice that the app keeps stopping, though I can still communicate with the gimbal movements. I have looked for firmware updates but haven't found any. It does not appear that DJI makes any meaningful updates. I really want to like this gimbal and I had such high hopes. It has occasionally worked well, but unreliable and inconsistent for the programmable movements. And yes, I balance the camera and calibrate the motors, etc. There is a 2 year warranty. I have owned it about 16 months now. I hope it is a fixable issue. Read full review

Using a Canon R with a 16-35mm f2 L lens and holds it great! Super smooth and awesome build quality! I added an aftermarket rear handle and makes it really nice in briefcase mode. Get this for your mirrorless camera!
