The King of noise cancelling headphones and comfort. I've tried its competitors -- the Bose NC 700 and the Sony MX3 -- and they quite simply do not match up to the level of comfort you find with these headphones. I personally enjoy the balanced sound quality and signature, though some might find it lacking in bass out of the box compared to the MX3s. The one gripe I have with it is that the sound stage lacks depth, and I wish the app allowed you to modify the sound stage (the MX3s support this feature). But alas, the single most important factor to me was comfort, and I can wear these for hours without nothing more than a few breaks.

Overall I am satisfied with the product. It has good battery life, especially when compared to my old Jabra headphones that were falling apart which prompted the purchase. The sound quality is good but I feel my original Bose over-the-ear headphones without noise cancellation had better quality. My biggest disappointment is in the fact that you can not operate these headphones while plugged into power for charging. Even my old Jabra Move2.0 headphones were able to be used while charging. These are my first headphones with noise cancellation and I feel the reputation of excellent noise cancelling may be overblown. They do a good job of removing lower frequency sounds, but higher frequency noises still come through fairly clearly (but you know - physics). I have not tried them on a plane yet which is pretty much the only time I plan on using the noise cancellation and I do expect them to be a big improvement over non-noise cancelling headphones in that situation.Read full review

Replaced my non-Bluetooth Bose headphones with these and am thrilled to not be on a "leash" anymore. I don't really notice improved sound quality the convenience of not having to plug them in is totally worth the price to upgrade. They are slightly more bulky but still remain very comfortable to wear. One nice thing is the ability to change or turn off the noise cancelling option as sometime you to be able to hear a phone ring or someone speaking to you. I had noticed some having an issue using Iphones with them but they have worked flawlessly with all my devices including iPhone 10, Ipad pro, and my Windows 10 desktop. I did lots of research online as well as testing all major brands in stores. There is cheaper options out there but none that performed better.

Number 1: the sound quality is phenomenal. Number 2: the noise cancelling feature lets you hear the sound instead of the background noise. Number 3: these are the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. The ear cups fit snuggly around the ear to block external noise. The space inside the ear cup is extra wide, tall and deep to accommodate my ears which stick out. They are expensive. I tried cheaper headphones which sounded great but bent my ears so were painful to wear for any length of time. To me, long-wearing comfort was worth paying a bit more. So find a good deal and enjoy great sound for long periods of time.

These have awesome sound quality. When they were brand new the sound quality was horrible. After listening to them for a week the sound cleared up and the sound is extremely good. I also own the sony 1000mx3 noise cancelling headphones and i like the bose better. The bose headphones are also more comfortable and the noise cancelling is a tad bit better. I also prefer the physical buttons over the swiping on the sony wh-1000mx3. However the sony headphones have more bass. The bose app does not have an equalizer. The sony app has an equalizer with bass boost.
