Very easy to set up and great value for home security
This item is very easy to set up. I am pretty tech savvy but it would work for even the novice. The app takes you step by step in setting this up. The plus side - if you already have the Protection Plan (that only costs $100 annually), then you can use this for both the Ring Camera (I have the floodlight and spotlights), Doorbell (I have two), and Security System. I have all three components, and there is no better value for your money for security. It is also easy to add lights, Echo devices, and indoor cameras to this to monitor your home while away. I also have to mention that it does not drain your bandwidth. If there is one downside and if I was being picky, it would be that the cameras and lights have to be purchased separately. I however find this great because I can choose my add-ons.Read full review

Good, but could be better with one simple change.
Works great, setup is easy. It is missing one important feature I had from a previous system. You cannot set it to arm the system automatically, such as arming it at bedtime. You have to remember or it does not get armed leaving your home unprotected.

Ring Alarms are Great!
I bought this system for my daughter’s house, my son has one on his house, we have one on ours! They are super easy to install, are very reliable, monitoring, IF you choose to have it monitored, costs $10/month or discounted if you pay all at once for the year to $100. The batteries last a long time, ours is almost 2 years old and the batteries are still good. It makes NO sense to pay outrageous prices for alarms from security companies when you get pretty much the same thing, with no contract, and if you move, it’s not hard wired so you can just take it with you!

This alarm is so easy to install even I did it with no problems at all. Works as advertised, house is totally protected. I also have the door bell and it integrated seamlessly. Added 2 more motion detectors, no problem. Works better than my professionally installed alarm I had.
