Time people liked it but now it's not 1991 or 1975 that's when they got the idea of its great smell .But 2020 the people were just not able to agree with me it smells ok to me .Yet at times it is to strong and not in a good way so I am going to return it for a small amount. I would never be able to use this whole bottle up and I have a purse size that I will cheap it's hard cuz it's really a great perfume I absolutely loved it for 20 years and for some reason this year when I got the new bottle it's too strong and I find I have to wash it off and some people absolutely hate it like my roommate guess it's a matter of taste and like I said though there are days when even I don't like it

The perfume does is not at all close to the original. The scent does not las. In order for you to smell it, you have to reapply it numerous times throughout the day. I was told by the company I ordered it from, Zenza Beauty, that this is the only version of Private Collection Eau de Parfum, that Estee Lauder makes anymore. I ordered it, as a gift, for my mother for Christmas. She's content with it, but had I known it was a "watered down" version, I would have never ordered it and won't do so again. I wish that companies would reveal this information upfront. However, I suppose it's the risk we all take when we make purchases online. I grew up smelling this scent Private Collection; it was my Mothers favorite. It reminds me of her and her beautiful soul and makes me feel safe. A very little goes a long way................since its oil based it will and does stay with you. Estee Lauder does not showcase this at their counters any longer has moved to floral scent giving it the name Private Collection. But there is no imitation for the first and original. So happy I found it here.
