Works amazingly well for my online work where I spend a lot of time on skype and similar services. Regret not investing in a light like this before. The light can be a bit too bright at max strength if you're really close. But the control, being able to adjust and dim the light helps a lot. The stand is great, but not being used as I've mounted it to my desk. Would buy again, and can't recommend enough for a simple and easy solution for lighting.

Light works fine, love that you can dim it. Love the ring style that you can photo through the center. It is very adjustable and fairly sturdy. I would recommend it. On the down side the cord is way too short for a light, The plastic filters are temperamental but not a major deal unless you want to change them frequently. And the flexible pole is painted so you have to force it to bend at first to break the paint seals (this is tough i had to lay on a table with it hanging over the edge and push down very hard to get it to move at all). This leaves edges of paint that will cause painful splinters and cuts. Mine was black, I would recommend getting an unpainted version if you find the option.
