Really just as good if not better than the much renowned original Master Tanto I had in the late 80's. The one with brass guard and pommel. Only disappointment was the sheathe; I liked the original leather one much better.

Cold steel, is one of the best knives made. I have an original cold steel master tanto. I stabbed it through my brother in law's hood of a car he was junking, only got paint on the blade. No damage at all

Good knife; well balanced and a sharp edge with good flexibility because of the San Mai construction. Full tang sturdy, and a good size for discreet carry. The slight curve of the blade makes it perfect for use in Tang Soo Do knife techniques.

Quite well made. Balanced and superbly honed. The sheath is of a rugged utility variety that gets the job done.

It is everything one would want in a knife. Sharp, solid, well made (I would have preferred one made in seki japan vs China).
