The computer is lightweight which makes it easy to carry around. I'm not sure what OS came on it because it was stuck in a bootloop but I was able to install Windows 10 Professional in less than 15 minutes. For my application, I use it to write framework for websites. With it's limited storage, it's not really an issue because all of my files are stored on test or production servers. It has older GPU which won't work well with gaming. For a budget work machine, it's not bad.

Very nice little pc for everyday basic use. About the size of a Macbook, maybe a little thicker. I use it for casual web browsing and office related tasks. It is worth mentioning that it is running Windows 8.1 and only has 32gb of drive space so I added a 64gb micro SD-XC card for extra storage. If you configure the power saving features correctly it will easily run for 8+ hours of non-gaming use. It seems to be a very sturdily built laptop, and it is very thin and light. The keyboard has somewhat short travel, chiclet style keys, but it works really well also. The computer does have some trial versions of software that will need to be uninstalled to ease up on drive space, and after I cleared away that, I have about 14gb of free space on the main drive to work with. I have been using the computer for a few months now, and have experienced no malfunctions, or quality problems whatsoever. All that being said, there are some drawbacks. The main thing is it is not upgradeable at all. The solid state drive is embedded in the motherboard as well as the cpu and memory. If any of those components fail, a new motherboard is the only solution. The battery is replaceable, but the unit must be torn down completely to do this. Still, I knew all this before purchasing it and I am pleased with the computer. In summary then: very good battery life, excellent performance, light weight and portable. But limited hard drive space, and not upgradeable whatsoever. If you can live with what you start with and add a Micro sd card to extend the storage, it really is a slick little device.Read full review

I was so impressed by this laptop! Small storage on it, but since I'm a college student, i only write documents on it mostly. Great operating system with popping graphics and quick startup.

I just received this laptop 10/20/15, and it is totally awesome! The sleek design and color is beautiful! It came with Windows 10, so I've got to educate myself on this one. It has a quick speed, holds a great battery charge, very convenient to carry around, easy to access and to setup. This is my very own first laptop, and I am so super excited that it is made by one of the best, reputable company, Hewlett Packard! Thanks!
