An unfortunate inclusion of the 1930s-inspired ballad "One More Kiss, Dear" interrupts the futuristic synthesized flow of the album with a muted trumpet and Rudy Vallée-style croon. [Blade Runner was released on LP in 2015.].
What can be said about Vangelis' score for Blade Runner that hasn't already been said? It's elegant, celestial, elegant, perfect.
If you haven't seen this film or listened to this score...do yourself a favor and check them out. However, I would suggest seeing the film first and then listening to the score afterwards. Vangelis is a master. I wonder what he would have created for Blade Runner 2049?
