Bought as-is with some damage (keyboard, hard drive). Tough old laptop. Easy to work on, keyboard has edge connector rather than ribbon, hard drive slides out the side, whole back cover removes for access to RAM, CPU etc. Beefy battery. Nice screen, 14" size makes for a more compact machine. Did upgrade to Windows 10, then clean install, Dell does not have Windows 10 drivers for this model but it's getting along fine on what Microsoft supplied.

The computer was exactly what I expected it to be, and a little bit better. The computer itself uses an obsoleted memory type, which is still available...but I think Micro$oft has passed the model by somehow. I don't care, I use strictly Linux products for computing, and these little laptops out perform almost every other laptop I've tried or seen. The only thing I didn't expect was that there wasn't a power adapter included. I'm not sure if it was excluded in the listing, or forgotten in the shipping, but it doesn't matter as dell adapters are dime a dozen thanks again to Micro$oft and their 'upgrade' path.

This is my second Dell Latitude e6410. I like it because it's small, lightweight and acts like a desktop. It does not, however, have great battery life and an extended life battery did not seem to help. The battery life would not last a coast to coast airplane ride so I wouldn't recommend leaving the house without the charger.

The short and sweet of it is, this is an older device that works really well and lasts really well. I've been using one since they were new, and it's been great. Granted, 8 GB maximum ram could be improved on, but I'm not doing heavy graphic or video editing. Its speed is probably less than the newest devices, but is still plenty quick enough for streaming HD video. I did upgrade to a 1.5 TB hybrid hard drive, and added the other 4GB of ram, but other than that, it's stock, and I like it!

The laptop itself is super fast, and process multiple applications at the same time without lag, I bought is refurbished and the battery isn't functional at all, so waiting to install a new one before I can judge battery life. The resolution is nice, and the keyboard is firm and smooth. It does seem maybe a little heavy, but nothing outrageous for a laptop with CD/dvd drive of this age. I am very happy with the way it looks .I have always been a Dell fan. Old or new. The only issue I have with the laptop is the battery life. I have to keep it plugged in. But maybe that is because this laptops battery may a few years old. I guess I'll go into looking for a new battery and see if that helps. Other than that I am very happy with this purchase.
