Great Laptop
I was hesitant to purchase this because it is a brand I had not used before. I was a Dell person but had issues with their batteries and power supplies. The price was great on this device and have had it for almost two years now. It is not a power machine but more than adequate for home/office use. Boots up and down quite quickly. It is lightweight and has the best battery life of any laptop I have ever owned. I can get a full 6 hours use before needing a charge. The battery is not removable though but so far still holds charge. The only peeve I have is that it comes with a lot of bloatware and the touchpad should have been a bit more to the right.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No way to upgrade
This is a very nice low end computer. However, Acer missed the ball when they put a solid panel on the back of the laptop. There is no way to up date the memory, hard drive or battery with out removing the entire back panel. Where the back panel attaches to where the screen is located I could not get the back panel to release so I could not do any upgrading. Could not find a memory module even tho the spec says there is one and its upgradable from the 4gb that comes with the lap top to a max of 8gb. Without being able to remove the back panel nothing can be upgraded. Most lap tops have doors or removable panels over the hard drive, memory modules and battery. Very poor design.
