It comprises a digital switch button which is placed on the side of the sight, allowing the user to adjust the brightness settings. This sight has a quick-detach mount, suitable for instantly removing it when iron sights and other accessories are utilized. In addition, it is lightweight, shockproof, water resistant, and consumes less power.

Good range/plinking optic
This is a very good range/plinking I optic. This is my second Sightmark the first was a ultrashort qd which I would also recommend. They zero very easy and hold zero. Just not sure they are up to the task of duty optic although sight mark does offer a military line of optics too that would fit that bill. My only complaint is when you switch between reticle options you have to make sure you get it clicked perfect in the middle or your zero will be off. I just zero mine with the dot reticle and leave it. I really could do without the other reticle options and have found point of impact shifts when changing to a different reticle other than the one I zeroed. The shift isn’t much but there shouldn’t be a shift at all. Other than that the optic has been great, battery life seems to be on par with other optics priced higher. And if you were going to run this on a self defense/duty rifle I would definitely run some backup sights just Incase and you should be good to go.Read full review

crap
looks good. built good. performs bad. 2 shots with 5.56 and it turned off every time. had to keep turning it back on. eventually after 7 shots it just turned off and wouldn't turn back on. read that the spring might be the problem. so I stretched it to maybe get better contact . still dosnt turn on. save your money and get a better optic.

Quick Sight Acquisition
The Sightmark Ultra Shot easily provides a quick acquisition of desired target. Sight in was easy and dot brightness was more than ample. Mounting of the sight requires a special mount depending upon the weapon. Mine came with a picatinny mount. I like it so much that I am strongly considering to order another one!

YES it is a copy but it works really well.
If you had the money for an Eotech, then buy it, but if you are not actively engaged in a combat theatre of operation then this sight will work for plinking and competition. The display is adjustable and holds zero.

shuts off for no reason
This sight shuts off after every shot. I don't know why it does this. It is good an accurate but this flaw makes it unpractical. I would not recommend this brand!!!
