Great tv , easy set up and ease to use for anyone's level of technical ability. Wifi and Roku huge bonus of course. I replaced my Vizio with this but it's missing some features I liked.
- dimming. Preprogrammed to light,lighter,dark etc. using in the bedroom the dark setting is still very bright. Vizio had a backlight adjustment and 0-100 brightness adjustment.
- Power on to a menu? When powering on the tv goes to a menu screen w options of roku and input options rather than right to the tv channel like most Tv's.
Just little things but definitely miss them.
The size is great for a spare-bedroom tv and the streaming apps pre-installed & available to install add a lot of value. The set is a bit slow to boot up and there is a bit of lag when navigating the menus but for a budget price screen this certainly isn't a deal-breaker. All in all, definitely worth the price.
i just cant say enough about this smart t.v., not only was it a great bargain but, it is awesome!! it offers soo many special channels , including hbo now which, i cant get on my vizio, and apparently can not get on samsung i heard, it also has your favorite netfix, hulu, and amazon, it can put your pictures up from your phone, and you can use your phone as a remote , its got great picture quality, and easy to program:)
Replaced our broken Vizio with this TCL Roku TV. (Thanks to Square Trade for covering the replacement cost) Very impressed with the quality of this TV and Support team at TCL when I called with questions. We have Roku's on all of our TV's so this combo is amazing with one easy to use remote. Highly recommend this TV to everyone.
We are in the process of cutting the cord with the cable company and this TV is making that process so much easier. First of all the TV itself looks and works great. The picture is amazing and the sound is crystal clear, unlike the sound of our other flat screen. This TV came with everything we needed for a quick setup. I hooked up an omnidirectional antennae to this TV with no connection to our current cable provider. This TV is also connected to our wifi. The kids have been watching this TV more than the ones hooked up to the cable provider, and they love all of the apps this TV has. We added a bluetooth keyboard to this TV which was quite easy and makes finding things quicker. We are all very happy with this TV and would recommend to anyone whether you are getting rid of your cable provider or not.Read full review
