This phone is operational. It was the third note 5 I ordered to replace the one my son dropped and broke. Battery life is not as good as the one I am replacing unfortunately. Apparently these are hard to replace for Verizon. When I used the “order it again” button on the other vendor’s website, I recieved a phone that only worked with a prepaid plan they sent a card for a free trial to. Another one I ordered came locked. At this point I consider myself lucky to have gotten a phone that works at all and has the functionality to let my son do some online coursework over the summer.

The verizon model does not update on tmobile network. It has to be updated on the verizon network. Although the phone is unlocked, I need to be able to update it so be able to use it to its max benefit. Sometimes, it will dial 1 automatically (in recent calls) thus I get a message the call cannot be completed. I would not recommend the Verizon unlocked brand, not all the way unlocked.

They said there MIGHT be a scuff or two from basic handling, BUT not a single issue at all. Phone came very well packaged, with the mentioned content, had no problems going to Verizon and activation, battery life IS AMAZING, even when not on the power saving mode with moderate use, I get long battery life. This Phone is extremely capable. It is fast, nice looking, and does everything I need it to do from streaming movies to surfing the net. Nice Clear screen with Amazing resolution and great battery life. My only complaints are the sealed battery and non-expandable memory. The battery is not to much of an issue as I can charge the phone to 50 % using the fast charge provided in about 20 minutes giving me another 4-5 hours of heavy usage.

This phone does a lot.... Like aaaaaa lot lol borderline mini computer. I do absolutely everything on my phone! i have about 94 apps and 2,000 photos lol so 64gb is fine i dont mind that there is not an expandable storage slot for sd card .. I actually like that no one can just open my phone and take it out . plus everything is already on the phone so loading pictures and files is a breeze and it doesn’t have to search through the sd card AND phone storage like in previous note series and its much more organized since its pulling files straight from the phone storage. The S-pen alone is $30 and is very chic and extremely accurate. when i mistype something its easier to just use then pen to pin point the error then attempt to click it with my big finger lol Its funny how apple is saying they have 3d capability for notifications… when samsung has been on this since the S5 a few years ago… when you hover over a message or notification with the pen a mini pop up preview allows you to read the message with out actually opening text message "Air View” . I love that i can jot down notes with the pen even when the screen is locked. The phone takes amazing pictures and has some pretty cool 3-D rotation options to enhance you photo taking experince. I went out of state not to long ago and took some amazing shots on my phone by just using the cameras built in features. I love that is uses my google account keeps alll my bookmarks on my phone and computer in- sync. Like any samsung phone the widgets are super cool a bit draining on the battery but really make my life easier especially since i work and go to college. Over all android phones are awesome and the customization is endless. Ive had this phone for nearly 1 year and love every thing about it.Read full review
