Super little scooter!!!
My husband and I went on the "Great Alaska Adventure" last summer. Two days after we arrived, I was admitted to the hospital with respiratory failure. My husband spent as much time with me as he could, but had to return to work less than 24 hours after I was released. I had to stay behind for almost a week and quickly found out that I needed some serious help getting around. It wasn't easy! At least not until I rented this scooter. It was awesome. I could take myself out of the hotel room to eat supper, then I got brave and took myself out of the hotel to the museum. The only negative is that if you're not watching the guage closely, you could well end up with a low battery and about a mile from the hotel... (No problems, I called for a wheelchair taxi!) or you might run into the chair at night... It's a bit difficult to store in a hotel room. It was, however, a lifesaver that allowed me the incredible gift of mobility to see my old hometown. I guess there are really two negatives... the other being that there is no place to hold an oxygen tank. That is something that definitely needs to be addressed.
