My HP JetDirect USB Wireless Print Server was defective. It didn't work at all no instructions on how to install it were provided neither was, I searched high and low and finally found how to install it after trying numerous way it still didn't work.

It requires a separate server or equivalent (Router). That was not made known in the literature. Install was easy, but getting it to function took over 5 hours on the phone with HP Tech Support.

Jetdirect works great. Directions in the packaging were worthless. I contacted HP and they walked me through everything and even called back the next day to verify everything was working great. If you have issues forget the instructions and just go direct to HP Customer Support for you specific printer.
