This is Garmin manufacturer refurbished in LIKE NEW condition. There is minor or no sign of use. All original accessories are included: car charger, car mount and cables.
easy to use, not the best speech recognition, lacks a manual.
This unit is very useful, since it has lane assist on the Upper left corner. Voice command is very handy except it does not have the best speech recognition. The response time to voice command is at time slow, then often misunderstood. The only reliable command is "go home". The routing is much improvement over the old unit but sometime still give out some illogical rout. The unit also does not come with physical manual, you can down load online easily; but even with the manual, you may have a hard time understanding some of the function. All in all, I feels that is still a very good GPS, even better than Google map from phone.
Guess I got the bad one.. Worked great for 3 months. Glad I bought the insurance.
The screen works clearly, the GPS was very accurate. Size was good.
Just sad it died. Had to pull out old faithful Garmin Nuvi 5000 which still works after 15 years.
This product is easy enough to use. The functions are pretty straight forward, but some settings can be troublesome to find; for instance, if you're looking for a location in a different state, it won't let you, so you'll have to switch the settings to the state you're searching for, but once you've done it a few times, you should remember.
My only gripe with this is, I live in an area where there are a lot of tolls, and when I put in the "Avoid tolls" feature, it reroutes me hours out of the way unnecessarily. Other than that, it performs like it says it will. The traffic up ahead is sometimes delayed, but it will give you turn-by-turn and even pictures of your exits at times to help ease the confusion.
I'm going to recommend that you stay away from the voice feature. Unless your English is impeccable, and you speak super clearly, it will almost always misunderstand your commands. Other than those two gripes, I have had no real issues with it. If you speak slowly and clearly enough (almost robotic), you can typically have the voice feature scroll down the list to find what you're looking for.Read full review
Overall, I'm glad I got this GPS. The voice command feature, however, is frustrating. I don't mumble or have any speech impediments, yet it consistently fails to understand what I request. I've tried at least a couple dozen times to have it direct me to Disneyland in Orange County, CA and it has never once recognized what I said. Ditto for Benihana's. When it knows where I'm going, though, the verbal instructions and display are very helpful.
finicky at times , some street names you need to phonetically speak and some address numbers it will display exactly what you said but you say the number (1 - 4 ) but then it gives you a new selection of numbers (1 - 4 ) that's because the address number you gave actually can't be found so it gives you choices that can be found, frustrating when you get there to find the street number you gave was correct in the first place so why the world could it not be found? at least if it can get me close that works but they do need to perfect these things voice command is the future of all GPS devices just don't play your stereo too loud you might miss a turn
