I love the Gazelle Glider. It is easy to use and easy on the body and doesnt tire you out like a treadmill does. Several different ways you can use it, thats what I like about it. My only problem is, I cant get the computer that counts the calories, time, etc, to work. It worked for a few days and stopped and I cant get it to work again.
Rubbing and grinding and noise after one week of use...
First few days of use, wonderful. Work out is pretty good. Motion is puts you through is different than other machines. BUT AFTER A WEEK, mechanism started to rub and grind and make noise (and I'm only 140 lbs). No fun to use after that. Direction tell you to disassemble and put petroleum jelly on rod to fix, but who's going to do that every week? Thanks but no thanks.
I like the Gazelle Edge. It's a great workout gliding machine. I like the fitness computer display, because it reads my speed, calories and distance pretty accurately. The only little flub is that the gazelle edge don't have wheels where you can easily wheel the Gazelle around. It folds really easily. My workout DVD has a flaw, because the disk has a few scratches on it, and it doesn't play in my DVD player. overall I like the gazelle Edge a lot, and I got a great deal on it..
I'm a 'fast' walker, and this checks all MY boxes !
this is my SECOND one.. have one at home, REALLY wanted to get one for our SMALL (vacation) condo, so took the measurements, pulled out the tape measure at the condo, ordered it and it fits just perfectly ! AND, can store it under the bed if we have family use the condo (albeit need to remove the ends of the handlebars, about 2 minute job, tops). also love that this machine can just be 'folded' up and set against a wall or sofa end when need to reclaim floor space !
this is the perfect exercise machine for me because i love to 'fast' walk while 'pumping' my arms while holding 1# hand weights, and i can do that on this machine ! perfect for getting my steps in during poor weather, DARK; as well as just a quick stress break during paperwork !
