This is an either/or regarding the laser/flashlight. You cannot have both at the same time. I have seen other reviews where folks complained about this. Just a heads up. Read the entire description. This NcStar Laser/Flashlight Combo is better than I expected it to be. We have had lasers before that needed to be attached using an allen wrench. This just snaps into place and stays in place when firing. Others have loosened and fallen off. This is not $300.00 laser/flashlight. But you would never know it. Great quality. Great price. I was looking for a light for my Glock 19 that was stronger than 100 lumens with a quick release and mount attachment that wasn't expensive. So far so good it works fine and lights up well for 150 lumens. The quick release attachment works well enough going on a little harder coming off but that could just be me and my mildly arthritic fingers. The added bonus is the very bright green laser that is easy to sight in and is pretty accurate. With this combo you can only use one at a time. It's easy to screw on either one just takes a few seconds. I bought this mainly for the flashlight, not really into lasers but its nice to train with. Gives you feed back on how steady your grip is. It's a good deal for a first time light and laser.

Seems like a very sturdy product. Light is very bright and green laser shows up awesome even during the day. Only thing is you have to choose on or the other. Swapping out light to laser is easy and you don't have to remove the entire setup off the gun. Nice product for the cheap money!
