No holds barred, one of the best motherboards in it's price range. It's not the best value per dollar like the cheaper boards are, but it WILL last you a while. This board also can absolutely take a beating. Someone threw my 80lbs computer down the steps with this board in it, with a giant phanteks air-cooler mounted to the board. The ASUS motherboard didn't care. It booted right back up. It survived 5 years of getting bumped into, set down a bit too hard (bad back), and being transported as-is for 700 miles inside a case in a base-model Toyota. It also has a coating so that if you water-cool, it doesn't easily short out board components with condensation. If you submerge it in water, you will be in trouble, however. There are various grounds and safe-guards built in to the motherboard. These will save you from light surges and from shorting things out unless you're completely careless with it. This motherboard even survived the local substation getting blown up - which was even enough to blow out my surge supressor and slightly injure a SeaSonic power supply attached to it. The board still worked. This board also can update BIOS using a USB stick in the red port on the back, without a CPU even installed, to update the BIOS to support HASWELL REFRESH or BROADWELL processors. This board is VERY solid and durable in construction and form. You will not be disappointed here. It is thicker than competitor's boards such as MSI, Biostar, or ASRock. The plentiful VRM on this motherboard stayed nice and cool despite having a tower cooler on my delidded 4790k / 4.4ghz all-core processor. Came with plenty of accessories/cables and a driver's CD (yes I have an optical drive!). FIVE YEARS I got out of this board. If you are using an 1150 socket and have no plans in the next couple years to buy a complete overhaul build, this is the motherboard for you. All of the latest hardware will work on this rig, except DDR4 ram. You just swap this board in and use everything you already have, and watch your whole system work better and faster. It is an amazing board...even the UEFI bios is better. your overclock will even be better on this board.

I built 2 with the Intel 4790K (top end Core i7) and 16G Corsair memory, Nvidia Graphics. I built 3 with the Intel G1829 (low end Celeron) and 8G Corsair memory, On board Intel Graphics. The 4790K machines are screamers - enable to compress MPEG-2's faster than drive I/O speeds. The lowly Celeron machines perform very well as day to day PC's under Windows 10. This board can bring the MOST out of whatever hardware you bring to the table.
