PerTronix is the best thing that ever happened to any of these old tractors I work on regularly, especially if they sit for long periods of time. Especially like it on the early N series Fords with the goofy front mounted distributor. No more worries with having to file/clean points after sitting all winter. Also a great idea if the distributor shaft and bushings are worn, which causes problems when using points. Just a great product all around!

Seems like a whole different tractor! I had always thought i had a carb or timing issue and was constantly trying to adjust the way it would run. Either starving for gas or for air it seemed.
