Much better cornering
I read a lot about going with the Metz 260/40X18 on Rear and Metz 160/40X18 on Front. Bought both on Ebay for $408.00. Mounted/Balanced them both myself. BIG FYI. Make sure you warm them up real good. Much easier to take off old and install new tires. On soaped up Front tire, had to air up to about 55 lbs of air before I heard the two pops/both beads seating. I know they recommend NOT to go over 40 lbs but that just wasn't happening for me. Rear tire was not a problem. Both popped/seated at 43 lbs. On the TEST DRIVE? WOW! What a difference! I could tell right away, much better handling. Of course I don't know how both Metz will hold up down the road but also read from other riders who did this that they did NOT develop any issues what so ever. A big recommend for me with both Metz.
