It's is an amazing laptop for light and work and portability. The design is very sleek and refined to feel on the hands. However the poor battery life could be a better in future iterations of the laptop. The screen is a bit wobbly when typing and has poor upright position to it that makes it fall backwards when typing heavily on it. Overall the laptop is amazing in many ways be it the amazing OLED screen S pen capability and tablet mode features. I would recommend this product to anyone that's looking for a light easy to use Google based platform for easy work and media consuming.

Pros Well built, lite weight, amazing screen, beautiful to look at. Cons battery life. track pad keeps freezing up which is common for this laptop luckily i found a fix which involved taking it apart and adding some copper tape to help ground the track pad.

Love the device weight and screen, battery is a little subpar (but not a showstopper). The hinges as reviewed are a bit loose and tend to wiggle when using as a laptop. The device has handled just about all of my needs for a daily driver. A nice plus is the external microsd slot, to add a little more storage if needed. I do wish the AC adapter came with a little more length on the cord, but you can find cheap extensions out there.

I was looking for a higher end chromebook to replace my 2015 l7 pixel chromebook that finally gave up the ghost over a second failed display. I could not find a replacement screen even from the Chinese manufacturer, so reluctantly sought out a replacement. I use the Linux side as much as the chromeos side and did not want a repeat of what I went through with the pixel whereby I had to await a Google special project just to run a newer kernel that would support one aspect of the Linux kernel. I was also hoping to find something that had a very bright and high res screen without paying an arm and leg. I had heard about the Galaxy, had heard all the misgivings of the shocking battery life. But I live on a yacht mostly in marinas and just off shore, have great power, and don't take the machine out on the town for any length of time. Plus I don't really crank the brightness up to max all that much so my battery requirements are easily met by simple adjustments away from everything on at max and off mains power. So for me the machine is pretty much what I want and need. And with all the Linux apps I normally want to use... Open source photo editing (The Gimp), 3d (Blender), page layout (Scribus), and vector graphics (Inkscape). Lots of others, of course, and all with ease of management of OS backup and connectivity of Chromeos, AND, lastly, the capacity to run and indeed link to Android apps on my phone. So easy. Because of the battery issues the machine is regarded as less successful, and arguably this led to a pretty good price at just over half of retail. So I am ecstatic. Great display, UFS storage, Linux, OS support 'til 2028 (we'll be lucky to even be here that long), so I'm good now for the foreseeable future. Sorry, no pic's - there are lots available. The purpose here is to provide a slightly different perspective, i.e., one predicated on specific REQUIREMENTS (how novel), and to that end, this machine fit my needs exceptionally well. Oh, and I forgot to mention the Fiesta Red colour... It matches my toaster ;-) Read full review

I've used chromebooks as my main portable driver for few years now. The slim desigm and the graphical display of this iteration by Samsung works very well for me. The black levels of the OLED display have to be tweaked a bit but otherwise it's a stunning display. It's got more than enough processor to handle mutiple tabs, constant queries, task allocation. And it's Red!

Pros: Beautiful and lightweight head-turner. The keyboard is very quiet and plesant to use - approximately at the same level as Google pixelbook and definitely better than Macbook. Screen is really awesome - bright vivid colors and excellent resolution. Very fast. No hardware problems or software glitches so far. Cons: Battery life is not great - I got no more than 4 hours of work from it. However I usually use it in office, at home or in cafes, and rarely stay away from wall socket for more than couple oh hours, so this is no problem for me. Also tends to get hot under load, but again, it isn't a problem if you use it on table. It is definitely a niche product. If you tend to move around and need some inexpensive notebook with long battery life, you probably should look elsewhere, But if you want something fast, with a great keyboard and screen, and short battery life doesn't concern you, then this is your best choice.Read full review
