Dual 12" Fender Special Design Speakers. Most of our guitars are individually photographed, and are set-up with care by our in-house luthier. No RMA needed! Different Amp Voicings and Distortion Types.
For a beginner guitar player, as I am, this amplifier has much more features and power than I need. I do not see myself in need of a new amp for a very long time. Absolutely love it!
Honestly, I purchased this amp because I have the smaller version. I love the sound of the little one so I figured I'd buy the larger version.
No dice. I just doesn't sound the same.
I'm sure many people will love it but I was fixed on the great sound and richness of the overdrive of the little one.
It is a rather expensive paper weight right now.
If you're thinking about buying because you loved the Champion 20 sound don't just buy it; go to a music store near you and try it first. IT IS NOT THE SAME SOUND.
Cheers brothers!
Great for hard rock and heavy metal, not so much for blues or country just my opinion.
I bought this amp because my gig amp died a cyber twin 2-12s 100 watts that was about 16 years old. I have had many Fender amps they were great. I do country and 50s and 60s rock and roll. I figured 100 watts would put it out there and it does. At performing volume, the distortion is a pure heavy metal on the clean channel. Mine is not much good for high volume for my type of music. I have an old champion 110 75 watt that I will be using It has worked for me when the others were down. Not sure what to do.
I'm not going into detail except to say that this is an outstanding Fender amplifier for the money. This amp can out perform my Deluxe Reverb, and that is saying a lot. For a 2 x 12, it isn't too heavy to carry with you if you are in need. This amp has a very nice low end punch and a crisp high end without sounding metallic or brassy. Believe me, turning this amp up to 4 or 5 will blow you out of the room. The digital settings and selectors on this amp are very accurate, especially the "Blackface Amp" setting! Again for the money, you can't beat the quality and performance without spending in excess of $1,200.00 to 1,500.00 or more. I think Fender did a very good job on the design of this Champion 100. My hat is off to Fender for this one!!!
