Cools my 8370 way better than the stock cooler did and I did have the Wraith cooler. I will add this though, I did not use the thermal compound provided in the box. I used Arctic silver5, which I also used on the Wraith cooler vs the stock paste so even still shows the Hyper 212 cools better. Would have given 5 stars, but one of the mounting screws that holds the bracket to the heatsink didn't fit correctly and I had to dig through my little bin to find one to correct this issue. If you want to cool your CPU better on a budget this cooler works fine in my book. If it cools the 8370 space heater(lol).
