Great little battery powered hand vac!
I was looking for a durable, powerful hand vac for inside the house and this fit the bill. Other hand vacs I have had seem to lose power quickly. I am able to use this to vacuum my stairway without any loss of power. It is super easy to empty. My husband had various DeWalt battery powered tools so we are able to share batteries. Very happy with this purchase.

Materials flaw
The vacuum works well. Easy to use, easy to recharge, not heavy. I have my kids use it frequently. The hose that runs along the top is not well made and has disconnected at both ends. I know you are supposed to pull it out of the front end for detail with and small spaces, but the plastic tip should remain on the hose. Mine is now held together with duct tape.

Great handheld Vacuum.
For times when I don't want to lug out my large shop vac for quick clean ups, and even liquid spills, this cordless DeWalt vacuum is fantastic. It's got enough power to do the intended work, and the design makes it simple to just grab, snap on a battery, and use. Being able to detach the hose to get into smaller spots, is a bonus, so I can do a quick vac of my cars or get between cabinets in the garage. I also love that it's a wet vac. When household spills happen I can spray some cleaner scrub the area, and suck up the mess with this right away. It's quick and easy to empty the bin, just one quick latch, brush off the filter dump it out and back ready to work it is. If you need a BIG capacity vacuum, get one, but this one has been great for most messes and quick pickups I've done. Run time depends on which DeWalt battery you use, I have different ones from 2ah to 6ah, and I've never had to swap a battery yet during use. I just Love Vacuums ! And this portable 20volt max DeWalt vacuum, just makes me smile from ear to ear. 😀Read full review

Nice mini vacuum - really sucks!
Wanted to replace a dust buster where the batteries wear out. Since we have lots of DeWalt power tools and their batteries, it was a perfect fit. Just a tad heavy but balanced and great suction. A real canister type replaceable filter and can be used as a wet vac for small spills. Love it.

Nice portable battery-powered vacuum.
We bought it primarily to vacuum the stairs in our house. Much better than lugging a heavier corded vacuum. We just have the 2.0 AH batteries and they do fine for a short two-story staircase. We'll likely use it for other vacuum jobs too and may invest in a few larger capacity batteries. Standard 1-1/4" attachments (which we already had) seem to fit fine. Vacuum, battery and attachments fits nicely in a 17" Dewalt bag which we bought separately.

DeWalt Replacement for Dust Busters
Replaces the little dust buster type vacuums we all have bought. We have a free standing wood burning stove. Big brick hearth but still, can't keep ashes from falling on the brick. I own multiple DeWalt tools and have been impressed with the reliability. Cats, spills, and small messes means a dry/wet vac for the bonus room/fireplace makes a lot of sense. I have multiple batteries and would be the only down side to this product (battery and charger can run up to $100. Very happy with this purchase and have every reason to believe it will perform like all my fine DeWalt 20V tools.,
