Great laptop!
I purchased this for my mother in law who has a 5 year old HP all in one PC that is slowing to a crawl. Seems like every time she boots it up....Windows Updates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is 73 years old and has come to love her smart phone rather than her PC because she can access her emails in seconds rather than minutes. She misses the larger screen, so here is the answer. This Chromebook boots up in seconds (because of the SSD), has a large, beautiful screen and is super fast. All her Chrome tabs were on the home page as soon as she signed in to Chrome. Boom...I'm a hero! I have the 11.6" version and haven't turned on my Windows laptop in over a year!!!!

The chromebook is made only for the internet activity. I can't expect more for other things, such as the simple game like roblox. my son tried to play using this chromebook, graphic seems so laggy. I wish I could upgrade to add up more memory on this device, but I think it would be imposible to do it,

Had what looked like a stuck pixel and when i pressed the screen slightly it went away. Hasn't been back since... But as far as that goes, when using playstore apps, the app is about the same size as on a phone, so that's a little weird on a 15" screen. AND if it had multi-screen app capability? 20 stars. Finally figured out how to add a external camera. Most of the chatter tells you what to set (oddly in the browser settings) but they don't tell you to open the camera app and select other camera if using a microscope cam.

Big screen, great battery life and nimble browsing
Made for the web only user, this Chromebook ticks all then required checks. It has decent, large display, good battery life (8+ hrs), ok memory (2GB), an ok CPU and a low price. All that gives a good, if not great, performing budget web browsing machine. It'll browse as well or better than a Windows/Linux machine 2 to 3 times the price. The security of Chromebooks are a plus. The software updates are seamless. No more waiting for Windows 10 to download and install updates! There are down sides, but they should be expected at the price and are not deal breakers : The screen is 720p ("low resolution HD") and not 1080p. I really don't notice. It would be nice to have 4GB RAM instead of 2GB. Some web pages with a lot going on can slow the browser down. It would be nice if the CPU had a little more power too. Keyboard is not the highest quality, but decent (I don't type that much when I web surf so not a problem). Again none are deal breakers, this is a great machine for web browsing and light online office work (Google Docs type work). If you need other applications (photo editing, gaming) this may not be the machine for you.Read full review

This a great chromebook! I got it for my 12 year old grandaughter and she LOVES IT!! It does everything she needs it do and more. I don't think she has put it down since she got it. It is fast, easy to use, battery last around 8 hours!! She is doing nearly all her homework on it now!
