This product was recommended by my vet. My 10 year old dog has recently started having severe anxiety in the car, which has never happened before. Tried the ptoduct and can say it does help some. I would say it “takes the edge off”. It is not a sedative so it did not put her to sleep, she just seemed a little less restless and nervous. The dosage is by weight so you do have to make sure you are giving the correct amount for it to be effective. Also, it is very important to give an hour before the event that creates the anxiety. It does take at least that long to become effective.
