This is my second Filson padded briefcase. The first one lasted for over 10 years and was still going strong, but had gotten frayed and was looking kind of shabby. The only problem I had in 10 plus years of hard daily use was a worn out snap swivel on the shoulder strap. I'm sure that Filson would have fixed it had I sent it in, but I grabbed the strap off of my Filson shotgun case and used that as it's nearly identical. Filson makes some great bags and luggage that last the test of time. Their stuff is pretty pricey so shop around and find the best deal and you'll get years of service from their gear.
